“Let go of what is no longer yours,” says Blossy, “so you can pick up what God is giving you…”
“Look, I am doing a new thing!” says God in Isaiah 43:19. “Do you not perceive it?” That’s one of my favorite sentences in the Bible — and in my life.
The desires of your heart
What, my friend, are the desires of your heart? If they’re related to the past, perhaps it’s time to let them go. If you’re yearning for the life, people, relationships or job you used to have…you’re chasing a misty dream. It’s time to stop dwelling on the past and start nurturing the seeds God is planting.
Pay attention, for He is doing something new thing in your life!

In Inspiration to Do What You Really Want to Do, I share ideas and encouragement for moving forward. She Blossoms is entering a new season; one of seeking and finding, of learning to discern the God-given desires of our hearts.
God will give us the desires of our hearts — when our hearts are aligned with His. He places specific hopes, dreams, passions, talents, abilities and ideas in us. If our own goals for our lives supersede God’s plans, He won’t give us what we want. He can’t, for it wouldn’t be good for us or others.
Sometimes we think we know how our lives should go, but we don’t know what God knows. When we put ourselves in control of our lives, we’re baffled and blown away by unexpected events, losses, deaths, broken dreams. But if Jesus is truly at the center of our lives — and in our hearts — we find ways to flow with what comes and goes. We Blossom.
What new thing is God doing in your life?
May you open your heart to Jesus, and make space to listen. He has amazing things planned for you! He wants to bless you because He delights in you.
Take good care of your heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit. You are a treasure. And, take time to honor and glory God – and all His creation 🙂
With His love,
Laurie and Blossy
